LWFW, Your car will thank you.

To my knowledge, its probably their one and only LWFW clutch setup for these car's, so I would assume they would ALL be that way! It was installed by RUF on my car yes!

I have been told it is worth about 10 to 20 HP depending on how light you went.

This is in my garage...windows up and down. My car. UMW LWFW kit. So, echo is maximized for your listening pleasure. :-)
Note, it is "pseudo HP" the engine has the same power...the cars "virtual weight" goes down from the engines point of view. This effect is most in low gears and least in high gears. I found a link once for M3's... For that platform....300hp car or so, it was about 10% in 1st and 2% in 6th...if that holds for these cars.....50hp or so perhaps. It is math/inertia....
Anyway, I love the sound. I cannot imagine ever going back. AND Kevin told me that it puts a lot less strain on the engine..is better for a certain expensive sounding main bearing....that matters to me too.
I am quite happy. I think the 964 RS fw is the key player and a sachs high torque kit....it has awesome feel. Not on/off at all. Talk to your tuner(s)....I use mine and he has not let me down. No one (wife, kids) has ever complained. I bought the car to drive it and have fun. If I wanted quiet, I would have bought a MB SL.

To people who don't know what it is it is loud. Like JohnD said with cars on both sides it makes the chatter that much more noticeable. That being said most of my "car" friends tell me it's not bad at all... I guess it's largely dependent on what you can live with and how loud your exhaust is....

Sometimes it will be VERY loud. Sounds like you just got married and tied all the cans to the bottom of your car, just dragging them along, and it waits until your going nice and slow to be the loudest. So when you pull up at Valet CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK and people think you bought a ragedy porsche.
But yeah the 964 RS flywheel is very driveable IMO, doesnt feel any harder to engage smoothly than stock.

I have never had anyone mention it to me...all you do is engage the clutch and the sound is gone. I definitely do not hear it while driving and in most cases the tunes are cranked so I can't hear it then either..and I'm in a cab...maybe there is quite a bit of variation in the sound? Maybe there is variation in installation which effects the sound?

Its insane I know.... Its a killer combo/setup they put together, absolutely 0 rattle trust me Have a listen, you would be able to hear it slightly on video in some of the closeups!
