LWFW, Your car will thank you.

No. Everything is still round and balanced...just lighter. The dampener is just a rubber "O'ring" between the flywheel and the ring gear, I believe. John?
so then along with the LWFW, you have to get the 1000 watt bose system with large woofer, for use at every stop light. A little Disturbed and everything should sound just fine.)
Save your money and just push the pedal in
(serious question now: Since we are removing the dampner and do not have perfectly balanced parts, hence the noise, does this shorten the life of the tranny components?

:-) I'm no expert at this...I'm really not sure exactly where the rubber is - all I know is I prefer the dampening overall for my car, but you can't beat the quick revving of the LWF.

ttboost is right. Chatter is a chattering, jerky feeling on engagement, like the flywheel is warped or something like that. The "noise" people talk about is not chatter, but gearbox noise that is not being dampened and allowed to project through the flywheel. It is commonly described as sounding like a bucket of loose bolts rattling around. I would say that is a somewhat close desciption. If you are in traffic and stopped at a light, the sound will bounce off the cars around you and it sounds like your car is falling apart, has loose metallic parts, etc. and people will look like "what the F...is wrong with that Porsche". Of course, you know nothing is wrong, but that is how it sounds.

I drive my car about 150 miles a day, almost every day, from mid March until early December and I actually removed a LWF and re-installed a dual mass - only because I grew tired of the nuts and bolts sound. Everyone has a different tolerance for the various noises certain aftermarket components can make.
