128 was its lowest trap speed today and the highest was 130.25 with several other in the high 129's and low 130.00's! It traps 128 in 95 degree weather with a good leave, but today was low 40's and traction was unreal! A Z06 is a BAD CAR!

What a great time for a slightly modded car! I watched a stock GT2 struggle to break into the 11's one day and he finally made one 11.9 pass with traps in the high teens/low 120's. Great job!

Great job Mario and Jamie! Outstanding runs, both of you.
Congrats on being the new world record holder for a stock C6 Z06, Jamie
I wish I could have been there with you guys. You have no idea how insanely jealous I am right now.

Those are exactly the same times and mph I ran in mine the first time out! It was hard getting out of the hole, leaving hard without wheel hop. I can drive it a lot better now after a few years of practice, and a couple of mods, but I don't know if I could ever match Mario's stock tire times? The guy leaves REALLY GOOD on street tires!

No speed shifting, I launch her right at about 3000 rpm, modulate the clutch and the gas, when I feel her engage, I let the clutch all the way out and increase the throttle pressure until I can sense that she won't spin, then I run her through the gears to redline. I engage the clutch and release the throttle when I shift, obviously as quickly as possible. I think turbo cars don't perform as well when you try to speed shift, they need spool. I was running 11.1's all day, that run was pretty much on the money. Although I think I can run a 1.67 or so 60 foot and run a 10.99. My best 60 foot that day was a 1.69, but I ran a 11.13 with a slight mistake on a shift.
