I have not noticed anything on this site except for Vivid, however it has been 100% on the Cayman Club /Boxster one from what I have seen.

Mitch then any advantge from getting it from Vivid vs tuner X?? group buy? some good deal?? Or is that Dan's turf??

Help us out!! One of the most expensive and important things we do to our car is the software, which can run around 3k.

if yours is tunable and can handle mods and a good product at a better price, talk to us!!

From the pictures it seems like FVD is using the same system.

I don't think that's practical........because at some point, most of us will upgrade. Even if we could all buy an initial tune, since we will be upgrading at different times we will be held hostage by another dealer because we didn't buy it initially from them.

Doesn't this apply to any Tuner? Why couldn't you upgrade with the same Tuner in any case?

To some extent, the point is when you buy a tune you also buy an upgrade pricing tier........No way would any company with a distribution network deal with onesies or twosies upgrades.

I agree that FVD's software looks very much like Softronic, and is priced at $1,599 (if I remember right). Maybe Vivid should host a group buy at somewhere beneath that........If not, maybe we as a group should approah FVD. I really think we could get 7-10 people together if we shake the bushes.

I don't think FVD has anything to do with Softronic.
I know the company pretty well...

I'd be very interested if Vivid hosted a group buy

I do not think that Softronic is an upgrade from Revo.
