Pic and opinion request: Daytona Steering wheel (raid)

Hi.

Curious on front AND side views of the ATIWE/RAID/FVD/etc. Daytona steering wheels (and am in the market for one if a member is sitting on one...PM me...).

Please include your opinion about fit, finish, durability, looks, gauge vision (does it block view), and what size you have...340mm seems to be the most popular one.

If you have special options or tricks (like where do you find the 3D decal to fit in the middle of the airbag????)...please post.

After a lot of thought, this is my next mod if people are happy.....

Thanks in advance.

I've bought my steering wheel from FVD ,very happy with it,great finish, good visibility,340mm,absolutely perfekt. But the RAID one is exactly the same I believe and much cheaper.I glued a metal porschecrest on the airbag.

Thumbs up

Thanks. Does the metal get hot in the summer...as in too hot to hold? Does the metal scratch? Where did you get the crest?

Is the hub ugly or do you not notice it?

Thanks. It looks fantastic!

TIA

The metal doesn't get hot ?? It's good quality so it doesn't get scratches, you don't see the hub and what you see is not ugly.
I bought the crest on ebay a long time ago..
