Ya, this time Peter gave me the jump and blew right by the M3....the m3 dynoed at 560 but the torque is only around 400 lbs. I ran Nick a bit and he pulled on me pretty hard.
The M3 is a wonderful car but it just can't compete w/ the big boys in terms of highway power. The car needs new plugs but w/ out a 12K investment it won't run w/ the big dogs. I need to de-emphasize my car habit now anyway.
I was going to do a write up of the event last night but I came home to a bit of a tragedy. Fargo, my beloved Pit Bull died yesterday while I was selfishly playing w/ my toys.. I am ashamed to say that I was not able to be with him. I was planning on euthanizing him this week. I wanted to look him in the eyes as he took his last breath like I did his mamma.
I am going to go bury him now.

Peter, thanks for everything. That was a blast. If you could PM or post a graph of my run when you have time, I'd appreciate it.
Sean, sorry about your dog.
How much time off 9.3 can be shaved with a tailwind and a twenty degree drop in temperature?
BTW I had a 9.4 and shifted at 6100 and a 9.33 from shifting at 7000. Any other techniques anyone cares to share?

Damn Sean, sorry to hear about your dog. I lost 2 in 2003. Was the worst time of my life.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
