60 to 130 - December 8 - Lonestar Results and Pics
#106
I am resurrecting this thread because I just got a call from Joel today. All issues on my M3 have been resolved (fuel pump and boost leak) and she dynoed 644!
Granted, it was cold (in the 40's today). SAE corrected was 585. Torque is at 450.
I will pick her up and post dyno sheets tomorrow.
Hopefully my 60-130 will drop now.

Sean, the only number that means anything is the SAE number, it's the only way to compare cars from different parts of the country to one another. The actual number however does tell a story, but it's the same story for pretty much all boosted cars. As long as you aren't making more power in the cold b/c it's that much leaner you're fine...

Tried tonight several times...trafic was a prob....then, I was down to a 1/4 tank which creates problems for the car....filled up w/ pump gas. Finally got a stretch of highway to myself and hit the rev limiter (Joel at BHS is convinced, based on his calculations, she can hit 130 in 4th). Hitting rev limiter threw her into limp mode and I was done for the night.
Peter, we have to get back to Lone Star for a controlled event in this cold weather!
Tell John H. I will buy him a Shanghai hooker if he will let us use the track.

Wish I had a driftbox tonight. On the weigh to go way my car, she was tare-ing the tires loose in third gear. The car OAT read 39 degrees. Can't wait to see what she'll do in this cold weather.
