WOW!...GT2 for 88k?

Well, I can verify, that if that is the correct VIN# that it is a real GT2. I just ran it in Porsche's system. MSRP was $187K. something doesn't jive though. as that VIN(Car) should have a Painted rear center console, sport seats w/painted seatbacks, Arctic Silver int pkg (looks like part of that's there) crest in headrests(where ever the seats are) and black mats. it's almost like it was gutted to be a race car and then the original interior was lost...and they put std. turbo interior parts back in when it was reassembled (probably for a salvage yard).

That was my exact observations.

This forum never ceases to amaze me...any semi-limited production/special car that hits the market is always tracked down and potential customers are provided with great information.
Good job 6!

Great fine! I am sure someone happy,
Just from the pictures alone the car didn't look right, Even for 88,900 its not a good deal. but for 5K i'm a buyer.

Was the GT2 gauge cluster the exact same as the turbo (6600 redline, 200mph top speed, no GT2 emblem on tach). Could someone post a picture of the rear deck of another GT2. I'm curious if the GT2 emblem is spaced properly. That would certainly indicate repainting.
And why would he have temp plates on a car he is selling for a friend?
I guess no one from this site will be jumping on this one.

Guys,
This car is trouble for sure. I saw it at Protosport. A wholesaler bought it at an auction and took it to Protosport to see if they could straighten out the car to resell it. John at Protosport said the car is a disaster. The wholesaler offered the car to John for like $50k to get out of it and John turned it down. John said he found so many problems with the car that it was beyond repair.
