I thought you did that before Roebling with the fluid and pads.

I'd just go to Oakwood and let them do the alignment, you can sit and watch, they have the same machine as Butler.

I will first and foremost be Mike's instructor and this will be my priority for the weekend.
If he "wants" to drive in white on his own we can take a ride together.
Even when I sign someone off I obsess over there performance and well being the entire weekend as I am sure your instructor will also do.
I like to after the sign off and a solo ride to then go out with my student again to see how all goes.
My "student" is a special case however as this is his home track and he is very experienced. I still want us to learn and share alot, but I think we will get out at least once!!
Tom point well taken. I hope I at least get a ride with you and Matt though

I'd like a ride with Matt myself, there is no better teacher than feeling the track as it is being driven properly. I actually think that's a better initial teacher than driving it yourself, because you feel how the car wants to react and you feel what's under you instead of trying to listen to someone talking and comprehending it and putting it to use all while driving.

definitely need a ride with someone who's done the track a few times.

I'll be bringing parts to unload as well guys...

I've got my complete 996 TUrbo front brakes, two sets of pagid pads (Yellow and black), calipers and rotors.

I've also got a 964RS lightweight flywheel setup that I bought from another member and didn't sell... I dont want to bring any of this stuff home!!

Dez, I'm bringing your wheels and tires...

Mike, what did you do with the GT3 front brake kit you had?

I'm trying to find some RS-29's pagid yellows but dont want to risk any shipping complications so I may settle for the RS-19 Yellows or RS-14 Blacks again.

Dez, I have ONE GT3 Driver's side caliper. That's it. I can bring it if you want it... $600. It's new, but does have a couple of paint chips. The yellow & black pads I have are for the oem 996Turbo (non-gt3) setup.

Stuart, Were you at the VIR Full event last September 7-9? Was this you in the white GT3?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5c480...eature=related

Hopefully I'll be with you midway thru the weekend. All I need is a sign off instructor to take a ride with me to sign me off to white...

mike,
no i didn't make that event.i was their last nov with nnjr, that was the only time at vir.i ran in yellow for the 1st day ,than i got signed off for the next two days but they left me in yellow.i've run in white with pda last year, and now nnjr has me in white this year for pocono.but than i'm doing summit point in may,and i've never been their, so they will move to blue than the same deal get a sign off.
