Turbo removal/replacement advise

I'm looking to see if anyone out there can help with pointing me in the right direction to removal/replace the turbos on a 996tt. I'm looking to get my hands dirty in the next couple of weeks.

I have in the past replaced the BOVs 'with Stephens' awesome directions. I have installed my own exhaust, so I have some familarity with the cars underside. Is this a job that mere-mortals can accomplish in their own garage?

How many hours should I assume?

It looks to me that the exhaust and headers need to be removed as a first step.

Any advise will be appreciated

Thanks

John

I can walk you through this...it isn't too bad. Figure the book calls for about 6 hours to R&R the turbos.
