I drive an S2000 as a third car and it's a blast. Wonder what the OP actually ended up getting. For all we know he could be driving a 911 Turbo by now.

No contest...depending on what you like, but my 2001 M5 w/ 65k mis, worth 20k

It is fast 13.0sec 1/4 mile, 50-50% weight distribution so handling is very nice, comfortable and roomy, looks awesome, smooth and quiet, many mods available, ...cost $72,000 new...of course I bough it used.

I agree Cooper S, B7 Audi A4 or B5/B6 S4, or a BMW E46 of some sort, fairly rock solid as long as you treat them right, but then again, who on this forum doesn't baby their cars?
