time will tell but at least you guys should give them the benefit of the doubt.
No one was complaining when we were paying 3 to 4K for a ECU 4 years ago.... and $5800 for a set of K24 turbos. All of the sudden Vivid puts a product out for a FAIR price and they get bashed.

so true.... I remember when everyone was talking bs about upsolute and that "you get what you pay for crap" and it was actually Sharky, TonyNJ, myself and a few others that actually had the ecu and it kicked ***! Then I decided to do a fully custom ecu with rene with upgraded turbos, etc. After about 5 reflashes in getting the ecu right, the car ripped. Pull 498 AWHP on a mustang dyno (pump gas) running a little on the rich side, while giac stageIVs were pulling the exact same numbers on race gas. I paid a fraction of the price and the car held its own and ran strong all day long.

Now that there are a lot of other players in the game, it's obvious that price will drop due to competition...but back then it was all giac and if it wasnt giac, it wasnt "good".

Sounds like these guys have a good product and great customer service to back it up.

Do your homework and if you find a good tuner with good customer service...go for it!!

Yes, I was making a joke. What I want to know is if there is a dealer network for support if a vendor goes out of business for any reason. One of the best things about GIAC is the vast dealer network......wish their pricing was more current.

How about the other question I asked?
