AC Cobra vs Porsche 9ff
Greetings:
I like to introduce myself and say hello. I currently own a 82 911sc/targa, that a converted to a 930 engine with mods in 1994. I haven't driven the car for a long time but I plan to put it on the road in the new year. My future plans is to have a 996tt or gt3. See what happens. Will have pics. soon. I came across this video at www.dpccars.com enjoy! Not sure if this is a repost.

I for one have not seen this video and thought it was excellent - as I own both a Cobra and a GT2 (well I know its not a GT2 but...). As my German is very limited can you sumarize in 2 lines or so what Sabine thought of the cars?

To translate in simpliest terms--In the beg--the
cobra-owner-driver-mech..states he put best stuff in the cobra..from the lightest
brakes/setup to best parts in the engine..Sabine in black and white says...this
car looks good and i am sure it is fast and sounds great. The narrator
says 580ps in Cobra standard. The cobra is 700kilos lighter. The 9ff
has 920ps. it has an x-tra kick in the cabriolet and is the fastest in
the world. During the the 1st race the nar. states 9ff has better
traction, but the cobra is right there with the 9ff. and winning by a nose.
Sabine states after the 200km race..the 9ff has a greater pow/push and
thats the end of that..plus in the 9ff u have all the nice comforts to
get there. climate contorl nice dash/readout blah-blah.Getting on the the
car the readout reads her gas milage...oh--whatta gonna do...Now the
race who is faster in the circuit. The nar. states Sabine takes the
curve wide, Sabine says the turn is heavy/weight but in the
straights--she bugs out. She is hard on the brakes but the cobra is
right there..lets see if the 700kilo cobra is better. The nar. state the
cobra is better going into the corners and out..light and good balance.
At the end Sabine says.yep..u gotta luv that cobra...he says yup....i
can play also..Sabine say 700kilos means alot.but the 9ff has the top
end. to take u. All in all u have a beautiful car, but i am better....

BTW listen to that 9ff Turbo, the interior shot and noise/acceleration under boost is WOW, listen to that thing when it hits boost unreal!
