Pleeeease....WRX is 100X's better quality car than any evo. And, look at any domestic magazine here and the STI takes the evo every time. 300 hp vs. 270 hp....
Getting back to the vote here, I would go with the Lotus over the viper.

Wow, I was just having this same exact discussion today at Laguna Seca.
I know the STi should be better (and maybe is) simply cause it has more HP, but I drove both, and I have to say I liked the Evo better. The acceleration just felt better.
I for one, also like the looks of the Evo better than of the STi,
but then again, I drive a Porsche 914

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but this is a pointless post since you're going to come back next week with another set of cars you'd like our opinion on that you probably won't end up buying. You should really get out there and test drive cars you are seriously considering and then buy the one that fits you best.

I have varying tastes in cars and generally just like good ones no matter what niche they fill. It is a worthless post in the sense that i am obviously not going to spend 90k solely based on some stranger on the web's opinion. However, hopefully it is a fun excersize for some people to spend my money and some of the opinions and alternate view points are very helpful.
