Definitely the red lip... hot and unique... and my suggestion!
What's the big deal about black with polished lip Techarts... looks good, but anyone with a phone and $ can order one.
There's gotta be something to be said about doing something that isn't a rehash... are HRE wheels hot, yes... but seems like over 1/2 of the people upgrading has a set... not very creative, is it...
Now, black Techart with red lip on a red car... that's different... and hot! Do something unique... don't be a lemming!

Since everyone is chiming in, I will add my two cents as well.
Totally Black wheel:
It gives the car a serious hard core racer look. It sort of indicates there is more to it than meets the eye. A sleeper if you will.
Black with red edge:
It gives the car a similar feel to the totally black wheel but sets the tires off. Everything doesn't get lost as with the black on black but it is definitely not as menacing.
Black with polished edge:
The most refined of the three. Given what you are trying to achieve, in that you are not looking for bling, these are the most bling of all of the three. It definitely takes a way from the stealthy, I mean business, perception of the other two.
So, again, given you are looking for business and not bling, my choice would have to be the red edge. Firstly, it is all business while still adding a separation of wheel and tire and secondly, it will be totally exclusive since I have yet to see that done.

Polished lip IMHO. I think you'd get bored with the red lip sooner or later and as for the all black, I'm still undecided. Part of me thinks it's mean and the other part thinks that's it's a bit over the top with a car as classy as the 996tt.

I had Lou drive the car, and I followed him....the sunlight picks up the reflection on the wheels, and it seriously looks insane and racey. Lou followed me driving it, and ...well he can tell you himself. I hate to say it, but it looks awesome the way it is...in person. Gotta see it in person to appreciate it.
