Wings- What are my options?

Thinking of putting an aftermarket wing on my TT. What are my options?

1) GT2 - Looks nice, but I wouldn't feel right trying to make my car look like something it isn't.

2) Gemballa - How much does it cost? Is it as big on the car as it looks in the pictures.

You could also do an OEM Porsche Aerokit. It consists of a more agressive front lip with a 2-tier rear wing. Member "Oak" has it on his car, and has pics in his signature...it looks great!!

personally i love the stock wing - and if i was willing to cough up for a new one - i would get a CF wing in the original shape... they are all over ebay, and as others have found out... pretty good quality

Does anyone know where I can purchase a OEM Porsche Aerokit? Is there anyone on the board selling one? In particular, I just want the rear wing.

OEM would only come from Porsche but there are some aftermarket Aerokit versions.

I haven't been able to find just the wing. You can buy just the front lip on ebay. I know Porsche sells the Aerokit, but they only sell both pieces...you can't buy them individually because they say it will throw off the aerodynamics. Porsche wants around $7,000 for it, so it's pricey.

If I end up buying an aero-kit car, I'll sell the pieces off it for about 40% of list.

I plan on the GT2 front end & rear tail. (See other post: I plan to purchase a 996TT in March)

Mark
