K16 Hybrid options

K16 Hybrid options
I was wondering if some of the turbo experts on here could weigh in on the pluses and minuses of different K16 turbine hybrid options? The most popular compressor seems to be the K24. I had the Mitsubishi 16g compressor recommended to me. I now also see someone has put together a K16/K26 hybrid:

I've also been told a Super 60 compressor would work?
Does anyone have any thoughts on the pros and cons of each setup?
Right now I'm leaning towards the K16/16g setup. I'm told it flows as much as the K24 compressor, but is much more efficient.

Super 60 has been done and it works well. But if cant find a tuner that can emulate a program for it then ur back to square one. I know Protomotive has done a super 60 ecu.
I drove a 18g and well as a 20g...

I think I'm leaning towards the K16/16g setup. If you guys put together a custom map for K16/16g, count me in. The only reason I'm still considering the K16/K24 is because the resale would be much easier.

Interesting proposal. Which 16G compressor wheel? There are four different ones that I am aware of and of course maybe more. Fortunately there are compressor maps are available for the 16G variations and there is a lot of community knowlege in the Mitsubishi and Dodge worlds. I am unaware of anyone using one in a K16 platform. Who has done it?

Yes Markski drove the K24/20g. We have discussed at length.
It does move the power up the RPM curve and is horrendously strong on top
(Think Texas Mile Turbo). It likes boost also. It (K24/20g) has propelled the
car Mark drove to some outrageous 1/4 mile times (with the help of boost 1.5 bar)

I don't know of anyone who has done it yet, but my turbo builder (who's opinion I trust, chapter and verse) swears by it.

Cool. I would love to hear more. Who is your builder?
