What you are missing is that it would cost you $3500 to *create* this exhaust, not just to purchase it from a vendor. If you want something similar that's brand new, ring up GMG for their WC-GT system. Or ask Kevin at UMW to put you on his list. You may find these options cost more than $3500. Maybe a lot more.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your used EP2L (if you can find one), but I'll bet you will sacrifice horsepower compared to this system.

Did you dyno your car before and after installing this exhaust? Curious as to how much hp/tq it will add.

 

Sorry, the only dyno run on this car was when it was bone stock with shot plugs. But I ran it on a drag strip with the exhaust and UMW Stage 2 K16 turbos. There was a ton of wheel hop in first gear and after the shift to second, so my elapsed time was horrible (high 11s), but the trap speed was 126.6, so the engine was making good power with small turbos.

This exhaust would show a greater gain on a higher powered car than mine. The cats are as low restriction as you can get (AFAIK), the mufflers are straight through 3" pipe, all the rest of the system is 3", and all the bends are as gradual as they can be and still fit under the car. I don't think it could be any better. That's why we did it this way!
