996 TT owners!!!!

Like the saying goes: "There is no substitute" I am on my 2nd Porsche. I have a 996TT now. Previously, I had a 1990 C4 Cabriolet. I wave to anyone with the crest. If they wave back is up to them. Anyone who has a Porsche and does not acknowledge the brethren really does not believe in the breed.

Yeah I felt really bad I did't wave back at a boxster the other day. It was nighttime and I was comeing back from the drivein range in the TT (I was only putting so I only put my putter in the car). I saw xenons and looked at the car and it was a boxster. I didn't realize it till the guy stuck his hand up after I passed and he wove at me. I tried to wave back but it was dark and I had already passed him. Boxster man I am sorry!

I usually stay away from these threads - but this time I'll add my $.50 worth - I don't look down at anyone or anything. I feel blessed that, as dumb as I am, somehow I have gotten to the point where I have gotten one of the kids through college, a wonderful wife, a nice house, don't need to work, and drive what I consider to be the perfect car for me - a TT X50. I track the car as often as someone opens a place where I can let the car stretch its legs.
In a country where the average income is around $35K/year we should all be grateful to drive a car with a Porsche emblem on the hood.
Off the soap box and back to watch the 24Hours......
