Hollywood:
Send me a PM and I will connect you to a mechanic in Atlanta that has dyno tested APR vs. others.
(I can't send PM's yet).

On a mustang dyno, my car did 400hp and 430tq. I have a Europipe Q2 and an Upsolute flash.

If you have the option of GIAC would be a much better bet. same price and much more known on these cars.

Thanks for all the insight guys. Since gt650 was my original goal I should probably wait and take the plung on that kit. My next step is checking into whether its worth my while just to buy a gt650 kit from this local shop who will then buy it from evoms or others and have him do the install. For you guys who know more... Is it pretty straight forward for a evoms dealer to install the kit or is it better to have the car sent to them or out to the other reputable tuners I read about on this forum? Thanks again for everyones inputs.

If they are a authorized distributor of EVO products then they should be able to handle the install for you.

My car is currently at Evoms getting the GT650 kit. I have been hanging around during the entire process and probably getting in the way. They do great work. The kit looks awesome and I will post up when I get the car back to me.

torresmd congrats on the new power build. Please let me know what you think when its all done. Since I'm in SA do you think I should by the kit from my local dealer and have him install or send to evoms for install?

Well I can tell you that I am very impressed with Evoms and their customer service is outstanding. Their attention to detail and pride in work is very impressive. That being said, it is nice to have a local installer just in case anything goes wrong you can have it evaluated quickly.

NakedFool is infamous around these parts
i just purchased a 2004 996TT and was fumbling through the owners manual and found a piece of paper from APR that had "customer name = prestige tuning" written on it.

looks like a bunch of different "modes" are available depending on what kind of fuel you are running in the car.

i am VERY new to all this and feel that the car stock has plenty of power, but am interested in figuring out how to switch between modes...
