Yeah what Oak said. I wasn't expecting and hope others weren't that this would be HD.

On to my saving/posting issue. I have saved the video in a much lower resolution to get the file size down, but it is not representative of the actual resolution had by the camera. If I save even 2 minutes of video at the regular resolution from the camera the file is like 80 MB. What am I not doing here???

It is better to just create a small 20 second video that is 1 to 2 megs in size.

Well I saved a 30 second clip and that file is only 25 MB. It isn't very exciting but hopefully you will get the idea. I threw an audio file on it too rather than listening to silence...

Again disregard the line down the middle of the screen it is my antenna wire in my windshield

Hope this works (crossing fingers)

To get the true sense of what the video quality is like change the settings in Google Video to "original size". It is at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

How do I change the sound setting on my camera and high resolution? If I shoot a 2 minute video the size is 10 meg.

Robert. Resolution can't be changed. On the sound there is a high/low setting. Low works better in our application. I don't have the directions in front of me but there is a menu you get in to to change the settings. If noone has responded by tonight I'll look it up for you.

I switched the sound setting and will take it out today to see how it works. Thanks for the input. I think it is fixed from my testing at home.

I like my hat mount because it allows me to position the camera without using my hands.

Robert,

How did it work out for you after changing the sound?

Anyone else interested in the GB?

the sound settings are kinda whacky.

sound setting set to lo with the camera inside the waterproof housing you can't hear very well. sounds extrememly muffled.

sound setting set to hi with the camera inside the waterproof housing there is constant static.

suggest taking the camera out of the waterproof housing when just filming generic footage that doesn't require the waterproof housing. seems like static sound is caused from the camera being the waterproof housing.

anyone else experiment?

I forgot to bring the camera at the last P-car meet so I will try to test it again some time next week.

I agree with you Oak. Outside the housing the sound works pretty good. When I took mine snowboarding I did some video with it strapped to my helmet and I also took some video with the camera out of the housing. The video with it out of the housing (set on LO) turned out pretty decent. Inside the housing you can't hear anything but the loudest of sounds. All of the video was great though.
