Go Pro Camera GB #2

I have gotten a couple PM's from guys saying they missed out on the first GB and would like to get their hands on a camera. I've talked the company into just a 6 camera minimum instead of 12 and it looks like 2 are already spoken for so we need just a few more to make it work. Of course if a bunch more people want to get in on it we can do any quantity. If you have not seen them check it out here:

www.goprocamera.com

We get the motorsports version and it is a very nice set-up for the $$'s.

GB price is $130 plus shipping (most places was about $10 for shipping)

Send me a PM if interested.

John

The actual camera is exactly the same for each. They just have different mounting options. For the bike they have a strap like thing that wraps around the handlebar. That mount does NOT come with the Motorsports Hero but can be purchased seperately.

The motorsports one comes with a suction cup and a few differnt length extensions/joints. It also comes with several hard mounts (via 2 way sticky tape).

For reference to other sports I did use mine snowboarding a few weeks ago. I strapped it to my helmet. Worked perfectly and got some real good video of my little girl learning to snowboard.

I wish I could say that I am happy with mine, but it just does not work. The video is not that great and the sound is worse. I reverted back to my digital camera.

Here is a video I took a few days after I got mine. Please right click on the link and save it to your desktop and then view.

Damn Robert bummer to hear Mine is doing fine. Yeah the audio is not good, but my expectations have been met by mine. Just took some video of a PCA run we did yesterday and it worked flawlessly.

Not sure where/how to post, but I'll work on it here. The files are huge so I'm going to cut them down to just a couple minutes. Nevermind the line down the middle that is my antenna in my windshield and not a camera defect. Stand by...

Alright I officially suck at doing this video upload thing. I cut it down to just 3 minutes and it's still 160MB and taking FOREVER to upload so I cancelled. I've got a guy at work that can help me out and I'll get a link up tomorrow.

No, but I will do. I mounted mine on top of a hat and it works well if only the sound was better. All of the hardware was provides except for some tape I used to secure the camera. The video I took was from the hat. You can see my hand reaching to turn it off through the rear view mirror.

I think you need to try both the sound settings

I think you just need to switch the sound setting. this set up isn't a professional HD type of recording. it's simplicity, the durability, and ease of use is great. and the price is right. cheesy and easy...pretty cool to use for other applications due to the light weight and ease of use.
