Question LUCAS oil stabilizer? transmission fix?

Hello fellow 6speeders,

I hope everyone is having a fantastic 2008 so far! I'm enjoying my car even more now with the extra power! I want to make sure my high mileage ( car lasts as long as possible.

I found some LUCAS brand car products and I wanted to know if it was safe or even good to put into my 996tt. They are the following products:

-- LUCAS Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer "oil alone is not enough!"

-- LUCAS Transmission Fix "stops slip"

-- LUCAS Upper Cylinder Lubricant and Injector Cleaner

Any thoughts/insight on these 3 products? I want to keep my baby running strong and long!

I use the Fuel Treatment on all my cars,boat,atvs...

But I will NOT use their oil additives. Mobile1 is good by itself. My cousin put 20% Lucas oil additive in his SL500 and blew the oil pump. I'm not saying its bad for all cars but I wouldn't reccomend using the oil additives.

Just change your oil/fluids often and you'll be fine.

I use LUCAS Fuel Treatment every 2k-3k miles.

Go to bobistheoilguy.com...read up on Lucas.

There really are no oil additives that can be recommended without very careful analysis. If you are doing Used Oil Analyses of the oil from your motor, then maybe an expert can provide targeted recommendations- but there is no 'magic bullet good for what ails you'

Just top off my Lightning with that. Makes it run smoother too.
