Clutch release problems

Hey guys, I am trying to figure out a problem I have been having for the past few weeks. My clutch seems to have varying release points. Most of the time it releases normally up high but on occasion it will slightly release right off the floor? I thought it was the slave cylinder as these are common to go out on 01's. So I went ahead and replaced the slave and the accumulator. My only thoughts would be something with the clutch assembly itself or the master cylinder?? Any ideas?
