Just tinted my headlights

and tail lights. just finished putting on my new front end and wanted to protect it so I had X-pell film put on and went with the headlight protection, decided to go with the tinted film (25mil thick) also i put on a silver crest. I will post better pictures later.

You did JUST what I was thinking of doing, especially to the tail lights. Looks great!

I'm gonna be a copycat on this one.

why? looks? this maybe "kewl" but seems like you would be cutting down the ability to see when your lights are on. no? seems kinda goofy.

I mainly did it for the protection to the lens's, then they told me thay had the tinted film and I said go for it. I drove the car last nite and I did not notice anything different with the lighting, it seem (to me) to be just as bright as it was before.

I think it was because it was so bright out today, they are smoked side markers

Thats why I did it with film and not paint, the film is uniform, no areas darker than the other and also if I don't like it I can Peel it off

I wonder how long it will be before you get pulled over, seems like a good reason for harrassment.

I have the stongard lens protection in clear and it's worked great so far.
