k16/k26 upgrade questions

What is the benefit of k16/k26 over k16/k24 or k24's? Also where do you upgrade k16's to 16/24's for cheap? Hope this isn't to much of a thread jack.

You need an account with such turbo builder. But is is doable...

You can't use a K16 tune for a K16/24. I know GIAC uses a K24 tune for the K16/24, and others may as well. Most tuners have a program for the K16/24 since they are so widely used, so you do have choices.

I would recommend getting a tune for which ever turbo you choose, you need the tune for the specific turbo to maximize it's performance. Using a tune for a different turbo may work but at the end of the day it is half ***
