List of no mod 6 piston rotors for 996 TT
Which ones dont need any machining? I'm fairly sure the GT2 ones do as the ones I have were machined. But which ones can we put on without any machining. The 997 TT rotors? I'd rather tried and true setups that what somone told you.
Where does everyone get them from as well.

Is that the monobloc kit? Will the replacement rotors work with 996 GT2 Calipers?

Yes, it is OEM Porsche parts that I bought as a kit. 350mm rotors at all 4 corners. 6 Pot Yellow Monoblocs up front and 4 pot Yellow Monoblocs in the back.... I believe these are GT3/GT2 calipers.

The 2005-Newer Monoblock 6 piston caliper will work on the GT2, The GT3 and the Twin Turbo.
With no further modifications the only one piece rotor that will work is the 997 Turbo rotor. There are ZERO wheel clearance issues for the OEM Turbo wheels and this setup.
Performance Friction does not offer the two piece floating rotor kit.
My two piece kit is one off, not available from any of the regular vendors.
If you switch over to the GT2/GT3 uprights, then you get the advantage of their rotor offset, but the caliper is the same and does not change. No adapter is required.
I don't know about the GT2/GT3 rotor offset clearing the wheels, but from what I've read elsewhere, there are apparently interferance issues. Based on my understanding, I think the caliper/rotor move outboard slightly, which may explain the difference in the GT2 Twist wheel, compared to the regular turbo wheel.
I don't believe any other brake kit avaliable will clear the OEM 18inch wheels. If you look at pics I took and posted earlier this week of my 350MM setup and the oem wheel, you'll see that the clearance is extremely tight. Every vendor I talked to about the other brake options out there couldn't guarantee that the OEM Turbo Twist wheel would clear anything of the "Non-OEM PORSCHE" setups... Your options are the UMW caliper/rotor package (OEM Porsche) or the Suncoast OEM Porsche kit if you want to stick with the factory 18inch wheel option. Dez, you could send them a stock 996 Rotor and have them size the outter rotor to 350MM.
