Wider fenders

I have been tracking my 2002 TT for 1 1/2 year and i would like to put wider fenders on it in order to install wider wheels. Was wondering if any of you have heard of this company and have knowledge of the quality of their product.American International Racing

Hi. If you call Rob King at S-Car-Go Racing (415-485-6026)
he might be able to describe how he was able to get a
GT2 customer running 285-35-18s on the *fronts* with
stock fenders!

Many are running 265 front 335 rear with stock fenders (me, Zippy) with some mods.
Do you want to go bigger than that?

I wouldnt tear the car up??

Yes, I know about GMG's options but i was looking at saving some $ by having my body work done by a friend of mine who owns a body shop.

I think the trick is to reverse the top shock tower mount to bring the
top inboard a lot, and then to machine down the inner faces of the
adjustable lower control arm joint, so the lowers can be bought inboard
too. I think it also takes some diddling of the steering rack to make this
work...

Rob King knows his stuff...He builds awesome street cars and some killer race cars. Have him take u for a before and after ride in your car after he has done the suspension. He set up my 993 after two other shops couldn't get it right. I'm thinking of shipping my 996tt to him from Socal cus I know he will set it up right.

Thank you Duane, thank you Joe, i am not worried about the set up on my car, I get my car prepped at 911 design Porsche Racing and Street Car Specialty home and those guys really know their stuff. I just didn't want to cough up 20 + Gs to get to this set up. If i get the parts myself and get it done by a body shop i would save myself the $ of the middle man. I just was wondering if somebody had ever heard of American International Racing and or would recommend them. I also thought that some of you may want to know about this company and other options.

me's think there is some type of buggering that needs to be done to make 265's work with stock fenders. I can't see doing this with out physically changing the top portion of the strut mount to increase neg camger. that would entail slotting the holes. also the fender would need to be stretched or atleast rolled.
