Looking for a REAR undercar Diffuser for 996TT

Hi,

I know that WErks Composite (www.werksone.com) is making a rear diffuser wich is bolted underneath the muffler. They says it's heat resistant bla bla bla...

Anyone know if such thing exist for the 996 Turbo ?

Thanks

Call Downforce

Downforce has developed one for the 996TT in carbon fiber but haven't advertised it yet. Just let them know David K. referred you. I saw it in person and it looks great. Their number is (714)288-1630.

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for. It is for a 997 RSR but works for the 996 as well. You will need a prominent front lip as well if you want to use one.

I must have another picture in my camera, let me know if you need any.
This one was custom made in Australia but you can find them at DP Motorsports in Germany or they can build one for you, it won't be inexpensive.

That is the main idea, however, it's kinda "huge" imo... maybe something smaller

me's thinks it will last about 3 mins, or until the first speed bump. muffler already scrapes with lowered coil overs. how are they going to design one that won't get damaged?

It's a water cooler with radiators in the front, no heat issues. You do much larger radiators for the racecars anyway... Diffuser isn't good for street work anyway. One pothole and you blow $8K+
