I just emailed Mike at EVO asking for the same support. I've purchased a lot of EVO products, not just the V-Flow, so I'll report back here.

Thanks for your support guys! We all know that this issue is not the V-flow but maybe its the Bosh MAF. Please PM me for your options of fixing your MAF Problems.

Okay, so I spoke to Mike about my V-Flow and blown MAF's. He offered a couple solutions and took care of me. Seems like a stand up guy to me. Doesn't seem to be any reason to gripe about your intake, especially a V-Flow, when you can call them up and resolve so easily.

So, why haven't any of you mapped out the voltage measurments of your MAF throughout the rpm and boost range? The ONLY thing that will hurt the MAF is too much current passing through it. Seems to me that if you are going to be pushing your tuning to the limit, you should know what your mods are effecting.

The solution to resolving the blown MAF is both a mechanical limit as well as proper tuning to the newly limited MAF signal.

The screens should straighten out air flow and elliminate the voltages surges cause by the an overly concentrated air stream. I have the hitachi maf without the screens and the car runs like a top. I had extensive issues prior to the hitachi maf and NO SCREENS. Had to resort to stock box as I could blow mafs at will.

Interesting thread because I just took a tour of Hitachi's plant yesterday where they remanufacture all of their MAF's. The tech who does the MAF's showed me under the digital microscope all of the crap that builds up on the MAF sensor that's hard to see with the naked eye.

I asked how she cleans them, and she said just with steam and a bit of water. They said never use a MAF cleaner solution as it leaves a residue that can cause more problems. After she cleaned it, it looked brand new under the microscope.

Unfortunately the digital magnification device was blocking my view, so I couldn't see very well. That's when I asked her what she did. I wasn't aware this was such a huge problem, otherwise I would have asked a ton of porsche MAF questions!

Well, if I blow one, I'll try to steam it and use hot water. If then dry and it is fine.....
