I am very courious to find out what differences you noticed. I never thought of using anything like that on this car.

Lucas was thicker w more oil than cleaning chemical. Besides lubricating injection system, I'm not sure if it'd actually clean it.
BK44 is sold at Napa. Quite expensive I recall. It's sold with a bottle that can be injected into the manifold as well as a bottle that goes into your gas tank. It's more concentrated and designed for professional use.
Techron is more mild and best to use 1-2x a year as a preventive measure. If your mileage is really off or you have hesitation, don't count on Techron to make it right. Get it cleaned professionally at a shop instead.

I hate to be the non-believer here but you really can't tell if and what you're cleaning until you do an engine tear-down and look at the amount of carbon build up you have. I'll be darned if anyone can tell me by the "seat of the pants" if any cleaner has really done anything........you have to go on what the manufacturer says. Having said this, before they went out of business Andial (who I REALLY respected) suggested two things;
1. Run good gasoline, don't buy cheap.
2. Run some Techron through once in a while, just dump it in the tank and keep your fingers crossed.
We get crummy gasoline here in California as it became a political issue many years ago. We had mandated "oxygenators" such as methyl ethyl tertiery butyl known as MTBE mandated by our "greenies" (don't you love how they so "not it all"?) and then the dweebs found out that it fouled our ground water! Don't ask..........
