This is a pretty common occurence and an excellent point... you can be *right* but *screwed*...

Aftermarket companies say that the moss magnussen act protects you- that their mods will not void your warranty- but practically speaking you can wind up with $3k in legal fees for a $700 repair.

(And if you are running lower backpressure with a bigger exhaust then yes, perhaps you are generating more boost and high EGTs, no?)

Finally, MM act only applies to the ORIGINAL warranty, not extended or aftermarket 'warranties' (which are actually contracts for mechanical breakdown insurance)
