100% correct. I see it too. It is all in the shifting and launch. I have yet to see at Z06 run with me.

I am saying that the TT is easier to launch. Anyone can learn with enough practice on either, but it is easier to foul up the launch on the Z. The clutch in the Z is very sensitive and can be singed very easily.

I would say that I am better than average at launching my TT and that is with very little practice. However, I sucked at launching the Z the first dozen times. It took me probably a dozen times before I saw 11's in the 1/4 and it was all launch related. At the end of my time with the Z, I had a racing clutch and well over 550 rwhp. The clutch was no longer the issue. The issue was not smoking the tires below 70.

Try slipping the clutch more. Don't just drop it, wheel hop sucks.

As far as shifting goes, you are just referring to fast and solid shifts, correct?

With 600 hp you should beat a stock Z06 easily. You should be running with 500 + rwhp Z's about neck and neck. I give the TT the advantage 1rst-3rd with the monstrous torque, the Z has the advantage in 4th with longer gearing, and then the TT has better Top end when the Z falls flat in 5th.

I was just going to say that you should beat him no prob. What mods did he have, because if it had been stock you should have pulled him pretty easily in those gears.

For comparison, in a standing 3/4 mile I clocked 24.39 @ 166 while a stock Z06 was at 24.64 @ 159. Had it on the top end by a mile, and I think it's safe to say you have more HP than I.

Strange.

These people are so easy on shifting, and love feeling the turbo spool and kick in LOL.. I slam the hell out of my gears not letting an ounce of boost up between shifts, just instnat power carrying over to next gear!

Murder for the turbo i'm saying.. These car's even in stg 2 form are FAST on the highway, as I said Z06's just dropp the hell off.. Now here is how I can say this, I ran a modded Z06 with my GT2, I pulled so hard and fast on it (ford gt with tune and exhaust also) that it was laughable. I then ran a Proto 700 GT2 and was dead even with me until 140-150 he would have then started pulling nice from there...

I dont know about murder. A head/cam/exhaust/cai/tune Z06 is FAST!! At least not kill it with these base kit 700 packages, but maybe the ones will all the extra stuff.

You have to consider that a GT2 is faster than a TT. And with equal power, the GT2 is still faster than a TT.
