where to get a custom y-pipe?

Who is selling a y-pipe that connects to the nice boost hoses instead of the cramped flowing stock piece?

There are a number of manufacturers for the Y pipe...or plenum...RSS is one, and there are one or two others. Do a search on Rennlist using the term "Plenum" or "Y pipe" and you should get plenty of hits. There is a difference of opinon on just exactly how much the Y pipe itself does for performance....with a number of guys recommending the performance flash accompanied by a different exhaust system for the most noticeable results.

thanks , I'll check rennlist. I just figured since I am doing other upgrades, I could help the flow alittle but visually a ton since the stock piece is functionally unappealing and with the smaller air box the y-pipe really stands out.

Which Y-pipe are you referring to? There is the RSS unit for behind the Throttle Body or the Y pipe that feeds the turbos....

Since he's talking about the airbox and how the stock piece looks....it would seem logical that he's talking about what he can see when he looks into the engine bay....hence it would be the plenum and air intake.

You have to drop the motor down a few inches. Not too hard, just a 2 motor mount nuts and lower it down with a jack.It is a pain to get the stock stuff out.
