Yes these are the best 'posted' times of Z's with people that have plenty of seat time and know how to drive their Z06's in a quarter mile race. I'm quite sure there are many more out in the goold ole' USA that haven't posted their times on the CF forum.

Here at HRP in Houston (Baytown) there have been many Z06's in the mid 11's so I wouldn't say the northeast is soley responsible for some of the fastest times. If the weather conditions were more cooperative this year (too much rain) I'm sure the better Z06 drivers here in the south could match those times at our local track. A Z06 barely braking 120...? Something isn't right there. IMHO...Must be at some tracks with extremely high elevations, very poor prep or very poor drivers...

Hell even the guys at MoronTrend at tracks 1100 ft above sea level are running 124+ in 1/4 mile tests...

It's all listed in the 1/4 mile list. I've even annotated which cars were running stock K16s.

When my car was still on K16's and AWD, I went 11.65 @ 126 with a 1.8x short time. I only had an intake, exhaust and tune.

The K16 cars can be very quick.

looks like to me best run stock turbo is 11.44 and your mph with 126.5, 126 is damn good on stock turbo's guess i have some work cut out for me. was that full weight?

im k24 and i doubt ill be at 560 rwtq ...

APR software with race gas program/ and a MBC. The mbc was a good gain. it was making 470/527 before it. and those number are on vp 103.

It's not the times, I'm talking about trap speeds and you wont see 127 or 128 hardly anywhere but the northeast.

And isnt Moron Trend the one that uses the calculator to adjust their times hence their results are always faster than everyone else? There are mags that have trapped barely 120 and a I've even seen 119, some at elevation and some not.

But as with any car there is going to be at least 5 mph delta in times depending on the part of the country your in, I would bet you the overall average for stock Z06's is less than 124, it took the fastest ten times on corvette forum to get that average. I would bet the average is more like 121 if you factor in everyone includind people in elevation and sucky drivers.

The fact of the matter is that MANY more people are drag racing Corvettes than ever will Porsches, because the Corvette is a better drag car hands down, and more quality drag racers driving them, but the fact remains that an average K24 Turbo should pull on a stock Z06 with equal drivers. 500 whp is more than enough to beat a stock Z in a TT. But of course the programming plays a big part.

What is an MBC? I'm thinking of doing a 5 Bar, headers, intake and intercoolers as my final power mods. I'm thinking I could effectively use about 50 more whp at the road course. At that point it's gonna take some serious machinery to pass me
