I understood what you were saying, thats why I was asking what kind of dyno the red gt2 was on. Also just so you guy know if I make 563 or 520 wheel wtq its only a spike@ 4900rpm its the same wtq @6000rpm on both pulls I hope that wasn't to confusing.

Mustang dyno tends to read lower than dynojet.. Most the others you can create any # you want..

Here is a copy of the dyno run and my best time slip and run. We didn't get the 11.06 on video, but they got a screen shot. I do have a video of it running 11.18 below.

No one is claiming B.S. here, just curious. If nobody asked any questions, the thread would die. BTW, I'm not questioning the 10.97 @ 130 trap. I'm amazed that a GTI could run a 10.97. The trap speed is spot on.

Otron flash, DV's, Europipe II (quiet), EVO wastegates on Michelin PS2's. The track conditions were perfect that day. That was the same day Jamie Furman ran a 10.98 at 129.9 in his bone stock Z06 on stock Goodyear runflats. I was there and I saw it in the flesh.

MIR is a great track for sure, plus I heard it was 39 that day that helped a lot. Everytime I use to race the Jetta there I would always go 9's right off the trailer. now i see how you are trapping that high you make peak power at 6500-6700, my car make's peak hp@4900 And then drop's hard also peak tq is made at 4400, there is no way my car will go higher then 123-124 with how its making the power I will post up my dyno in a min.

hey 9eleven what gas was that on? and also i think you could have run 10's that same day if the driving was improved a little.

I'm glad i'm not the only one that thinks that Vette driver started in a much higher gear.I love I personally would take the Porsche over the vette any day of the week but the Vette should be faster or do a whole lot better then that. Either that or the Porsche was making at least 580whp even then it's kinda iffy.

93 octane. It was 48 degrees that day; perfect conditions. I probably could of run a 10.98 or .99, but I was still using the stock clutch and it started to slip later in the day. I am having a new one installed next month with a lot more clamping force. Nevertheless, even after the new clutch, I'm not sure I want to punish my car like that anymore, but you never know. By the way, there is always room for driver improvement.

Mario are you going for a LWFW?!? It is one of the BEST upgrades to a GT2/Turbo Porsche, throttle response and rev's climb so fast, much more feel!

The jury is still out on that decision. I'm still a little apprehensive about changing the way it drives and feels. I've gotten pretty used to the OEM flywheel and I don't really want to deal with chatter and/or idle, stalling issues.

I guess it depends on who you go with, my RUF setup feels and sounds exactly like stock, you couldn't tell it had a LWFW except for its revs and throttle feel!

It's a touchy subject, one that requires lots of research, i'm not sure how much the RUF is but I can find out for you? Well worth it if you NEED it!
