The beginning of my garage transformation

Today I installed my new Kiwi floor (what a breeze!). This is the beginning of what will soon be a kick-*** garage. I am still deciding on which organizing system to go with, but I am leaning towards Gladiator. Sears also has a very nice Craftsman system that I need to check into further.

I am doing my garage also. I just ordered about $ 1k worth of crap to hang on the walls. I like your floor and I have been torn between epoxy/painting or tiles. Do you have a link where you ordered your tiles. They looks nice.

The floor was very simple to install and only took me a few hours (3 car garage). Make sure you have a rubber mallot.

http://www.kiwitile.com/home/ and find your local dealer. I paid $2.93/sq. ft. I am really enjoying the garage makeover.

very cool (and inspiring!)

I am currently doing a gut renovation on two bathrooms...once done I will have redone every inch of my house.

Garage is the final frontier....

Looks really great!

No need for envy. This is cheap and easy (like the way I used to like my women j/k)

haha Did you ever date my wife? JK

Garage is the last on a very long list of things I am doing to my house, but when I do finally get around to doing it, I should know by then, what i want it to look like.... At present i am planning on a gourmet kitchen, 1/2 bath, family room, master bath "mod" for the hizzy.

But once again, it looks great..

I am about to build a new house (if I could make a decision here), but it'll take at least 2 years in reality so I decided to do the garage anyway. I will enjoy it. Now I need to decide which cabinet system to go with. Check out Gladiot Garage Works and also the Sears Craftsman line...I'm open for suggestions.

I went with the perforated based on my dealer's recommendation. The holes are very small, but he said a shop-vac every 6 months and that's all you have to do. Living in South Florida with all the moisture it is probably better. You can't see the concrete below unless you really, really try to .

I am not sure about jackstands and I know the floor will scratch if you drag a jagged piece of metal across it (so will any other floor for that matter). It is impervious to oil and such, but I did choose the perforated system. My cars have never leaked any fluids so I guess I am not a good reference for that one.
