Good luck.

This graph says I went 0-120MPH in 13 seconds. and 60 to 121 in 9 seconds. And I was only tring to record my 0-60 times. Remember, I am doing this on the street not on a 1/4 mile race track with no traffic, but on a public street with traffic lights and cops.
High 8's. no problem!

I thought that these cars pull harder as the speed increases? I recorded a 4.0, 0-60MPH today in 78 degree temp with my air-conditioning on. So you are saying it will take me an additional 6 seconds to go from 60 to 130?
Time will tell, but if I post a time below 10 seconds, what them?

That's how most of us got our 60 - 130 times. Try to find a flat road with little or no traffic and floor it. Shift into 3rd early and try to build enough boost, that way you only have to shift one more time at about 120 or so.

Like all cars, the faster you go, the slower you accelerate. As speeds increase, the car has to fight against increased wind resistance and taller gearing. So you exponentially get slower.
Anyway, I think you are overestimating the acceleration capbility of your car. I'll be surprised if you go under 10 seconds. Good luck, though.

Yes, I will try that next.

Robert,
Stock 996TT's do 60-130 in about 12 seconds. (some as low as 11)
My first mod was a very modest 1.0 bar PSI 480 ECU remap. I produced
a 10.96 60-130. You in a cab with your mods Might break 10 seconds, Maybe 9.5
Cars in the 8 second range typically have more mods. The real tell-tale
power to the ground is the 100-300 KPH (mine is 22 seconds flat). That of course
is 62 mph to 186 mph. This is why you NEED to go to TX2K8 or the Texas Mile, if
you like this type of thing. Last time I went to "mexico" to do my 60-130 runs, I got
pulled over a half hour later because 3 people called the police...I really didnt know what
he was talking about.
0-60 has little relavance to Porsche power and more to do with clutch sacrifice, etc.
Many modded Suby's, Evo's and Honda's even will crush your 0-60.

I looked in the manual and did not see that illustrated. What is it and where do I go to configure?
#29
If so, how did I get from 0-120MPH is 12.9 seconds?

Robert, I don't know about your estimate. Your 0-120 time is right around stock for a coupe if I remember correctly. Cars laying down 8's are typically in the 600hp range and running 0-130 in around 11 flat.
Good luck though, and big props for going out and doing it!
