So I installed Kevins custom DV's over the weekend, and on the stock tune the car was spiking to 1.5 bar, ...! Not sure why, but it did it a few times. I barely drove the car, so I didnt worry, I figured it had something to do with the custom springed DV's. Well I flashed the ECU today and I leave my driveway expecting all hell to break loose.

1st gear flys by, all ok. Shift to second and at 5k the car sputters hard, but i hold through to redline. Ok, its fast. Shift to 3rd gear and now under full boost the car is sputtering really hard and the 'check engine light' starts flashing. I release the trottle....Im pissed the F off.

After many runs and tests, I have come to conclusion that it must be bad plugs..and just some shuper ****ty timing on them failing!

Stock intake. I wouldnt think a MAF would go.... could it?

 

Check for vacuum leaks too. Is it still boosting 1.5bar ?

 

No, it is not spiking anymore. It holds 1.1 and 1.2 bar
