Very nice! Are you going to replace the door handles to the 997 version?

If I can find some 997 door handles at a good price I will do it.

I am sure you know it is more than just the door handles, but the metal work, bodywork, and repainting your doors to install them.

I know its a tedious process. I actually just found some damaged doors where the door handles and the door handle area were still intact.

I will finish the conversion after SEMA. I pretty much have to cut the door hole off the 997 door welded it on my 996 door and then connect it to the 996 linkage. After that the door and rear 1/4 have to be repainted.

Have you thought about painting the middle slat of the rear quarter panel (turbo) vent black.

Can't wait to see it on sittin on the new rims... Did you paint the calipers or upgrade to ceramics?

Hmm.. doesn't seem too hard of a conversion for the rear by the looks of it. Are the front pieces for the 997 on the 996 a direct bolt on?

The price of course. I would have to sell my 996tt at a huge loss and then start again.

997 turbos start off at $135K plus tax and license. By the time I did the turbo upgrades, exhaust, headers, etc., clutch, stereo work, custom paint, techart kit I would have been way over $200K

Since I had a 996TT it just made financial sense to do it my way. Without my industry sponsors such as

3C Collision and Motorsport
Auto Talent
Misha 911 Wings
Artsian Perfomance
Mobil 1
Meguiars
Spec Clutch
CEC and Techart
EVOMS
Vivid Racing
BASF
Brembo
Agency Power
Toyo Tires
iForged
MA Carbon
The Racers Group
PLX Devices
Creative Car Audio and Motorsports
Rockford Fosgate

there is no way this dream would have been possible.

From my conversations with Misha the front is a direct bolt on, the head lights are even "plug and play".

Amazing car, looks wonderful, can't say enough about the color!

997 fenders are NOT a direct bolt on. The Misha 997 "look" fenders are a bolt though.
