To those with Gemballa look alike rear bumpers
Hiya everyone, ive seen plenty of your cars with the gemballa look alike thing going on, my question is: is this an easy mod, what has to be done apart from the obvious cutting of the original slats, is painting needed, and any tips on how to go about it? how did you guys do it, any info is greatly appreciated!!!
thanx steve

Re: To those with Gemballa look alike rear bumpers
Hey!!
In order to do this, my bodyshop cut 2 of the slats sanded the hole smooth to make it look nice. They then had to repaint the entire bumper (said he could have "blended" but I prefered to do it the right way...). I was going to do the square exhaust openings (I have the 2 metal pieces from Gemballa in stock), but decided to go back to my factory oval tips and decided it wouldn't look good... After the bumper was painted they installed my black powdercoated mesh by glueing it on the inside...
