997 GT3 wheels on my 996TT (almost)
After viewing flyyellow’s (Boris) thread some months ago I was inspired to chase down the 997 GT3RS wheels….in the meantime Dan (Vivid) made available a customers set of 997 GT3 wheels to me. As Dan & Mario promised the wheels arrived flawless. Fitted up some 315/25 & 235/35 Yokohama Advan Sports this week, only awaiting delivery of the 23mm H&R spacers for the rear. Will post further pics once they are fitted up. Thanks Dan & Mario for your great work!

Correct ! Also the 23mm spacers will give me the same offset as OEM GT2 wheels.
996 GT2 18 x 12 offset 45.
997 GT3 19 x 12 offset 68 - 23 spacer = 45.
With the 23mm spacer fitted the clearance to the inner plastic shroud will be close....about 1 or 2mm.

You may need to roll your rear fenders if you are going with GT2 width and offset. The Gt2 comes with the rear fenders rolled from the factory. Super easy. Get 1 2-3 lb mallet and mask the striking end with duct tape to protect the tape. Take off the rear wheels and start triking the inner lip to fold it back. Start real easy and you'll see it's so simple to do. Did mine is less than 5 mins once the wheels were off.

MGS996TT, be careful there is some funky stuff with the offset of gt3 wheels. If memory serves they come with a 5mm spacer on the rears and their offsets take that into account.
Since i installed my (GT3RS wheels) i fitted them with a 15mm H&R spacer. They fit perfectly but i don't think there is any room left. I too run a 315/25/19 and i have rolled lips....
Just trying to share my experience - hope it helps. Wheels are awesome!
Cheers.
