2005 Turbo S Cab

I sold my 2003 X50 Turbo. It had a Evoms/GIAC flash with diverter valve's. The car ran great. Very fast. It put out 1 bar. I bought a stock 2000 mile Turbo S Cab. I took it out today for the first time. It felt very weak. Im not sure if I just got use to the GIAC flash or what. The boost was about .7 and I saw .8 bar once. I plan on having it flashed in a few weeks. I am going to do a dyno run before and after. My X50 put out 370HP to the wheels stock and 439 HP to the wheels after the flash. Any thoughts?

My TTS Coupe did 0.8-0.9 consistently when stock and now with Kevin's UMV 94 Octane flash does 1.2-1.3 (may drop a little when the weather warms up).

Could be loose hoses or diverter valves. Your car should be under warranty still, why not have the dealer look it over?

should run consistent .8 with occasional spikes of .9

Dealer should look at it and fix it for free.

You may have a problem. You should be getting .8 pretty consistently. Have the dealer check it out.

Get the codes read ASAP (if you didn't do it before the car was bought).

I took the car out again tonight. It seemed to run a little better. I saw mostly .7 and a few .8 and even a .9 after I backed off the gas. I have a thought. The gas was in the car for 4 or 5 months. I filled it up with fresh 93 octane 50 miles ago. Can old fuel effect the boost? I made a appt for tomorrow at the dealer. I do not think they will find anything. The car seem to make more boost and power at 90% throttle vs full throttle.
Any Thoughts?

Gas could be the issue. Fille her up again and make sure you run all of the old gas out and confirm it is not a gas issue before you bring her to the dealership.

In my X50 , I thought it was easier to hit .9 in the summer as oppose to now. I can only hit .8 now. Rarely will it see .9. Someone has said it was winter gas.

Gas can definitely be an issue. Old gas can definitely affect the performance. Running it almost down to empty and filling it up a couple of times will definitely eliminate that factor.
