I have just removed my H&R coilovers last week for some JICs. Huge difference between the two. H&R gives a great ride on the street and are a little "floaty" IMO. The steering is much more responsive with the JIC setup. The JIC are much stiffer but the handling is AWESOME with this setup. I have decided to do some track events this year hence the change to something more aggressive. I would recommend the H&R kit to anyone who is not going to be doing any track events and wants a good/comfortable ride on the street.

I plan on doing a decent amount of track days, and I have a h&r rear sway and front and rear trg droplinks to go in as well

I had ohlins in my s4 and loved them. I know the Hr's aren't in the same league but how do those of you that have them like them?
The H&R is a great setup if you want to use it on the street and occasional track. They are not too stiff for daily driving. If you will do a lot of track, I would use a more aggressive setup that the H&Rs

i personaly don think they are worth it , spend all that money for allignment and corner balance and install and find out that your not happy with them ... i would go with JIC 's , and if u want something better , KW, and then JRZ or motons.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm going to look around for the best deal on either jic's or the kwv3's. If anyone needs a nice 6k mile set of H&R's for $900 let me know.

I never actually had these installed on my car, I picked them up on ebay for a good price.

Sale is currently pending to DYL 911. I'll let you know if he changes his mind.

So can someone tell me if the H&R coilovers ride comfortable like the PSS9's, but do not have the bump stop issue if you lower the car more than an 1 and a half inches?

My 996TT has just the H&R springs with perfect ride height, but the car handles like crap and wallows dangerously through long fast turns, so I'm just looking for something to balance the car out. I don't track the car.

Those do ALSO, when going to low. The H+R are just shltty all around when pretty low, and Nik is right, they do get very bouncy!

You want the most mind blowing transformation? Moton's.... Even on my GT2 it's night and day, absolutely fantastic!

I'm running pretty low on my H&R's and no bump stop issues.

ill there must be something clearly wrong with your H&R set up as mine has no problems and is approx 1/4" lower than GT2 settings. And have no issue you mention. I have had them since early 02.
