Are H&R coilovers any good?

nycsurfer is infamous around these parts
no bump stop issues with my H&R street coilover as well ,I am at 1.5 " lower than stock height .

I've got the H&R system on my car and the ride height is set just below GT2 specs as well. The ride is fine - although I bought the car this way and don't have any comparison.

I plan to try a track event with this setup - but expect that I will move up to the JIC or something that allows more adjustment.

from my experience on the track there is no clear advantage between the other street coil overs in track times. H&R has done their homework in spring rates and dampening for a street coil over set up. unless other suspension pieces are upgraded it's not much of a difference between them.

FWIW... I just bought a set of H&R coilovers for my fathers 993TT and really like them. They are softer than the JIC's I have on my car. Overall a very nice improvement over the stock system. I think even on the track most people will enjoy this setup. Quality is excellent...
