GT2 vs Turbo Suspension Difference 996

I have a question and I was positive it was already answered in the forums but I did a search and nothing...

Will the OE 996 GT2 H+R built coil-over setup work in a 996 turbo? I have wanted to lower my car for a long time now and was looking to do it with OEM parts, this seems to be a great answer for me.

Help?

Thanks in Advance!

Because the gt2 suspensions are sometimes dirt cheap.

It might be made to work if you converted to 2wd, but probably not worth the hassle.

You know guys I am an idiot. I didn't even think that the knuckle may be different up front cuz the GT2 is a 2wd.

Either way thanks for clearing that up for me, and yes, the gt2 suspensions are 800 bux, dirt cheap for what it is

Thanks

The Diameter of the front strut housing is smaller on the GT2. You can either build a shim or find one from several different after market shock manufactures .... Then it will all go together fine... The valving is likely the biggest problem.
