Advan Releases 1 piece Lightweight Wheel for 996TT

Advan has just released the RS wheel for the Porsche and BMW cars. This is cool! A very popular wheel in the JDM community (we have them on our EVO X), the wheel is a 1 piece cast lightweight wheel. Available in 19x8.5 and 19x10 and 19x8.5 and 19x11. Fitment for the 996TT. I believe the +40 is for 993??? I believe based on offsets you can use these with spacers for the 997 cars as well.

19x8.0 +52 5-130
19x10.0 +40 5-130
19x11.0 +60 5-130

Right now these wheels are 3 months out, but Vivid will have the first sets available. http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/a...&class_14=5246

You can see the actual information on the Japanese Advan website here - http://www.yokohamatire.jp/yrc/japan...rsp/index.html

Here are some pics and teasers -

Not the first and not the last time when a vendor tells some wheels fit to a certain car and they don't...Would hate to buy these to the other side of the world with info like this

With rears you need spacers, at least 15mm for a proper fit. For these look good you would need at least 30mm spacers per side (so it would be 11" ET30)...

And yes, handling with 18" is much better in 996's. Good wheels perhaps for the 997.

There is only the 19's coming to the USA. They are actually 19x8.5 fronts which I corrected.

Those look hot! I love Advan wheels! I bought a set for my old car but ended up abandoning the project and selling them before I ever put them on. But they were GORGEOUS wheels. The quality was better than anything I had ever seen and they were light as hell too.

BOXER4 is infamous around these parts
Hey Dan, what other colors will they be available in....I think if they'd come in gold, or hyperblack they'd look sick. Keep us posted.

Looks like they also come in gunmetal according to their site....they look great

now to see if I can unload my wheels

Nice to see they came out with something for Porsche. Their wheels have always been awesome quality. Not forged, but Ive never had any problems with them, neither have customers.
