what are you guys paying for race gas ?

i found only one place localy that sells it , 103 unleaded 5 gallons for 50 $... i looked on line and the only place that i found that ships was 70 $for 103 oct . 5 gallons aswell....

does anyone know of a place that ships that is cheaper then 50$ delivered?

my local motor cycle store sell 5 gal cans of 110 and 116 for $50. At least one of them is leaded. My chevelle loves it.

I pay $7 a gallon for Sunoco GT plus 104 octane.

The cost differential with $4 a gallon regular gas makes it seem like such a value.

I remember when Clinton was in office, gas was less than $1 and $5 seemed so expensive for race gas. 5x the cost!

Now an extra 33% gets you race gas.

If you want, you can just use toluene (I think its 116 octane). Its a paint thinner found in some Sherwin Williams paint stores (I think about $10-9 per gallon). I've used it a lot of times on my old turbo s2000 and worked great. If you are in southern california I have 4 gallons of it if you want to pick it up.

cant beat Japan, double that: around US40 for 1gallon. a bit cheaper (US30) if I buy a whole drum

Ouch !!!! That sucks !! $2000.00 per drum..... not good for burning 3 drums a weekend in the old boat!!!

that's why no race file for me ... sticking to 93 oct which is US7 per gallon at the pump
