Robert,
After 700 miles (and 8-9 passes on the dragstrip, lol) my clutch is FINALLY broken in.
BTW, I could not hook up AT ALL today. The track was horrible in terms of traction. After all the monster Supras ran 7-8 second passes and my little old GT2 got out there it was like a skating rink. I granny shifted 1st and 2nd for my fastest time of the day, an 11.97 w/ a trap of 130.
Of course none of the monster Supras ran the road course, so I am still up there in terms of the overall competition.

When I left Marty had ran a best of a 11.2 @ 134mph. He was having some traction issues though, but it has an easy 10 in it if he hooks up.

Marty ran an 11.4.
It was tough for us Porsche guys. Both boxes were watered down for burnouts for the front engine cars. However a burnout in my car will result in wheels hop/axle breakage and thousands in damage.
Thus I had to drive through the water box and spin.
I think that Peter will have a dedicated dry lane tomorrow.

Sean, just because you SUCK at drag racing does not mean the track sucked. It was the best hooking track you'll go to in a LONG time. It didn't help that Mr. Genious (you) rolled through the water box and tried launching on wet tires. Note to self next time - track will HOOK IF I have NO water on my tires.
Now, onto the facts - we had street Supra's running 8.6's@170+ mph, as well as auto Supra's running 7.7@185+ mph...not to mention the LMR car running 7.6@194 mph. The track DEAD HOOKED today and I was shocked at how well Lonestar did with track prep.
See you all tomorrow at the 60-130.
Peter
