Exclamation Driver side, Front Eibach Sway does no fit perfect.

I installed the Eibach's Sway Bars and I can not be happier with it, very nice upgrade for the handling characteristic of this car.

Well, the only dilemma is that just in the driver side the front Eibach Sway does no fit perfect as I think it should, see pic. In fact the space among supports on the OEM is 67 cm in stead of 66.

I called Eibach Tech Support and they said that it is an acceptable tolerance but I am still thinking that in this car especially on the suspension side everything has to be precise.

Thus, to all the suspension gurus, Is that fine?

Thanks!

I installed the same set not long ago and I didn't have any problem with the fitment in the front ,maybe you should double check the part number with them .

Good point nycsurfer,

The whole kit part # is right 7215.320 just watching the box.

The Rear Bar part # already in the car that fits perfect is: 7215.320 HA, which is part of the Anti-Roll-Kit # 7215.312.

The Front Bar part # that I have in my car is (see pic): 7214.320 VA, which is part of the Anti-Roll-Kit #7214.310 & 7215.310 …being the 7215 of the Turbo and I believe now it’s used for another car (7214)…and I suspect this is the reason of that 1 cm delta.

I just sent and email to Dave at Eibach Tech Support to clarify.

Thanks!

Eibach Anti-Roll BarsChassis Year Front Dia.Front Rear Dia.Rear

911/996, C4 Coupe (AWD, Exc.Turbo) 996 98 - 04: Front 24 mm 7214.310
REAR 19 mm 7214.312

911/996, C4 Turbo Coupe (AWD)996 99 - 04: FRONT 24 mm 7215.310
REAR 23 mm 7215.312
Full Kit: 7215.320

Thus, Eibach did a mistake and put in my box a C4 Coupe (AWD, Exc.Turbo) Front bar .

They suck at packing ,I have seen people complaining about the same packing issue all the time.
